It's Been A Minute!

Oh may goodness! What an amazing few months we have been having.

Kenny and I have been growing so much in the business and learning so much. Along with learning, we have been keeping pretty busy with our incredible clients (thank you so much for being so awesome) and of course our son Mason.

So, let me catch you up a bit on what we have been up to. Last end of summer into fall and winter, we had a banner year for our company. Again, all due to our incredible clients, repeat (thank you) and new clients (welcome).

We had weddings, family sessions, newborns, seniors, maternity oh my. I also had the opportunity to shoot boudoir which is something I had not done in awhile. Let me tell you…I can’t wait to do it again!

Some of you might have seen us at the Boise Wedding Party Show this year. We had so much fun meeting brides to be and their fiancé’s , their families and of course, their bridesmaids! So much excitement under one roof! The fashion show was incredible and the designs by Daci, LaNeige Bridal, Margenes…and so many more…they were just incredible.

We are wrapping up this month filling up our wedding schedule for the year and wrapping up the end of our special of an ADDITIONAL 5% OFF of our already incredible packages. So if you’re still looking for a photographer for your wedding and want to book us and get that 5% off…make an appointment to meet with us SOON!

It's been awhile...

It's been awhile since we have left a blog post.  We had the awesome opportunity to photograph April and Jeremy's Engagement Photos.

We are so excited to photograph this couple for their upcoming wedding, but the engagement session is such an awesome time to get to know the couple.

We had lots of laughter...lots of laughter and managed to get some beautiful photos along the way.

Electric Youth

Back in the 80's, an artist by the name of Debbie Gibson put out a perfume called ELECTRIC YOUTH.  Today, I had the honor of shooting Ms. Rachel Morgan's senior portraits.  This portion of her shoot screamed of my childhood and brought me back to an awesome part of my life.  As I captured some special memories in her life...I had a blast remembering some special moments in my life!

I almost forgot about this one...The goal for this set of photos was to have a family interact and walk together.  This little one had different plans.  She looked back only once when her family called her name and then she took off running.  She ran right into my FUNNY ASSISTANT (see earlier post)!  Mason, our son.  She took a liking to him during the session and was more interested in playing and walking with him rather than take photos with her loved ones.  Mason is our youngest and has always wanted a little sister.  Going to sessions and playing with Emma Grace (his cousin) will have to do son.

Mama is the glue...

Today we had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family.  Like many families we have photographed through the years, there is one very common thing we see...Mama is the glue.  She picks the out the clothing, figures out hair and makeup and plans for this day for many weeks.  During the session we see everyone coming together...there's laughter, squirmy bodies, lots of jumping around and odd noises coming from everyone trying to get the youngest child smiling, sometimes some tears, but through it all...Mama is keeping it together.  Don't get me wrong, Dad's are enormous helps at keeping Mom centered and rounding up the kids, but just like this photo above shows...Mama is the glue.

Laughter is my favorite...

Yesterday was a full day of shooting.  We started out at a farm and ended in a fall wonderland in the city.  Some of the best parts of a shoot is the laughter.    A brother and sister playing in the leaves.  They look at each other and laughter erupts capturing a memory that they will really appreciate when they are older.  A couple that have been married for over a decade find out that kissing in front of a camera isn't an easy task.  You mean we have been doing it wrong all this time?  It was a wonderful day of family, love and my favorite...laughter.
